Boutilier, Mary “Geraldine” – Age 89, of Stewiacke. We regret to announce the passing of Geraldine in Elk Court, Brookfield, on April 20, 2020. She was the youngest child of the late Norman and Mary (Samson) Slaunwhite.
Geraldine was an avid knitter, and loved to read and play bingo.
Surviving are her sons, Larry (Marilyn), Alan (Debbie); sister, Marie; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Vernon; son, Bruce; brother, Gordon.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or a charity of your choice.
Many thanks to the staff of Elk Court for the care Geraldine received over the four years she was with you in the place she called home.
