Mary’s Obituary
Hearn, Mary Frances – Age 87 of Greenwood, Kings Co., passed away Sunday December 6, 2020 at Shannex Orchard Hall, Kentville. Born in St. John’s NL, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Anastasia (Thomas) Murphy.
In her younger years Mom taught square dancing from 1963-1974 throughout Nova Scotia with our Dad. She loved to play Bingo even though she didn’t get to holler it too often. Mom had a beautiful voice and was always singing in our home as we were growing up. It was a huge part of her life and a cherished part of our lives. Mom was devoted to her family and was a wonderful cook (we never went hungry).
Mary is survived by daughter, Sherry-Lynn (Robert) Estey, Greenwood; sons, Wayne (Susan), Coldbrook, Randy (Valerie), England, Allan (Catherine), Kingston, Terry (Holly), Kingston; grandchildren: Patrick, Kristine , Nicolle, AJ, Jason, Kristen, Wayne, Ashley, and Patrick ;great grandchildren ; Harper, Wolfgang, Connor, Rory, Ryan, Ethan, Angelina and Lydia; sister, Monica, St. John’s NL; brother, Ed (Marilyn), Binbrook, ON. Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband, Pat and her brother, Gerald.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a private graveside family service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., Middleton, NS toll free 1-855-825-3448.
