1942-2020
Mary Elizabeth Weatherbee – age 77, of Wolfville, passed away
on Sunday, January 26, 2020 in the Valley Regional Hospital,
Kentville. Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph
and Greta (Norman) Davidson. Mary had been employed with the Wolfville
Fruit Company as well as the Highland Grocery in Wolfville.
She also volunteered as a candy striper at the Blanchard Fraser
Memorial Hospital, Kentville. She is survived by daughter, Tammy
Weatherbee (Richard); grandchildren, Jonathan, Joey, Nicholas,
Crystal, Julie and Tracey; five great-grandchildren; sister, Mona
Davidson; brothers, James, Graham (Joan), Eric (Sharon), Paul (Vicki
Lynn), Michael (Glenda) and Kenneth; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth
Weatherbee; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her
husband, Clarence; son, Harold; a grandson, Michael Crouse; sisters,
Shirley and Marjorie and brother, Clarence. Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2020
in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service
and reception will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2020,
Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. Burial will take place at a later
date in the Willow Bank Cemetery, Wolfville. Donations in memory may
be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the IWK Foundation. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and
Cremation Services, Kentville.
