Mary Ann Sieben
Mary Ann Sieben, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Drayton Valley, AB, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020, at the QEII Hospital, at the age of 60 years.
Mary Ann was born February 17, 1960 in Drayton Valley, AB. She completed her schooling in Drayton Valley before moving to Edmonton, then Calgary. She moved to Grande Prairie in 1986 and began working at the QEII Hospital. She worked there until her retirement.
Mary Ann always had time for everyone and could never say “no” when someone needed help. She loved camping and being with her friends and her canine companion.
She will be sadly missed by her sister Caroline (Roger); niece Nicole Bain Koch (Lyle) and her children: Raegan, Logan, and Kennedy; nephew Justin Bain (Katie) and his children: Trystin, Karley, Hannah, Dylan, and Layah; special friend Joe; and Marley her canine companion.
Mary Ann was predeceased by her father August Sieben (May 16, 1994), mother Vera Sieben (March 9, 2014), and brother Carl Sieben (December 3, 2013).
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Drayton Valley, AB.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society (200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 2P5), or to Heart and Stroke of Alberta (144, 5241 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, AB, T6H 5G8), or to a charity of one’s choice.
