Mary Minerva Amikons (Commanda) “Little Mary” Peacefully, surrounded by family, at Tennisco Manor, Pikwakanagan on Monday January 13, 2020 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Lennox Amikons. Loving mother of Shirley (late Denty), Estelle, Edna (late Joseph), late Robert, Nancy, Francis (Ralph), Marian (late Keith), Sidney and late baby Anthony. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Russ, Morris, Norman, Angela, Brad, Jennifer, Mike, Derrick, Tony, Jeremy, Charles, Matthew, Kim, Rhonda, Tina, Calvin, Shannon and Nathaniel. She is also Great-grandma to 43 great-grandchildren and has 20 Great-great grandchildren and counting. Mary is survived by her two sisters Lila and Ann. She is predeceased by her parents Seymour and Melissa (Sharrow) Commanda, her grandchildren Lauralee, Terry and Adrienne as well as her siblings Sylvestre, Richard, William, Philip, Percy, Alan, Pearl, Agnes and Florence. Visitation will be at the Makwa Centre on Friday January 17, 2020 from 2-4 & 7-9pm the Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 11am at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church, Pikwakanagan. Spring interment Pikwakanagan Chebewkagim.
