Obituary of Martin Riley
RILEY, Martin – Peacefully at home with his family by his side, Martin Riley died on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Catherine for 53 years. Born in Fauldhouse, West Lothian, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1989 with his family. Loving father of Gillian Morrision and her husband Gary, Sarnia, Catherine De Sena and her husband Francis, Sarnia, John Riley and his wife Colleen, Calgary, Kenneth Riley and his wife Kristen, Calgary and Martin Riley and his wife Veronica, Sarnia. Proud grandfather of Martin Riley, Lauren Morrison, Ian Riley, Ewan Morrison, Emma Riley, Heather Riley, Cameron De Sena, Kirstin De Sena and Isla Riley. Dear brother of Helen Wilson (late David), Charlie Riley (Margaret) and Michael Riley (Catherine), all of Scotland. Dear brother-in-law of Rose Pitt(late) and cousin Robert Pitt, Margaret Miller (Jim), John Boyle (Nan), all of Sarnia. Predceased by his parents Sarah and John Riley and his brothers John Riley (Liz), Eddie Riley and Bernard Riley (Annette).
Cremation has taken place. A memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday January 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to The McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia. Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com
