It is with broken hearts that the
family of the late MARTHA JANE KEEPING of
Garnish announces her passing. Martha passed away at the
Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Sunday, June
14th, 2020 at the age of 96. Leaving
to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sons, Ron
Keeping (Thelma) of Garnish and Lyman Keeping (Yvonne) of Garnish;
daughter-in-law, Joan Keeping of Garnish; 6 grandchildren, Joey
Keeping (Minko) of Japan, Elliott Keeping of Halifax, Ian Keeping
(Shelley) of Winterland, Valerie Nolan (Brian) of Garnish, Darlene
Stacey (Steve) of Garnish, Julie Spencer (Cal) of Marystown;
great-grandchildren, Jason Nolan, Terri Nolan, Jeannie Nolan, Hayley
Spencer, Hana Keeping, Megumi Keeping, and Nate Keeping;
plus a large circle of extended family and
friends. Martha was predeceased by her parents, George and
Elizabeth May; her husband, Stanley Keeping; children, Esrom,
Willoughby, and baby daughter; great-grandson, Drew; brothers, Esrom,
Alphesus, William, and John; sisters, Ida, Minnie, and
Sabina.
Due to the
current Public Health Advisory of COVID-19 a private family service
and burial will take place.

Keeping would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at
the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank, and to her homecare workers, the
love and care that you have given did not go unnoticed.
Thank you as well to the staff at Wiseman’s Funeral Home for
their caring and professional service.
In Martha’s
