It is with deepest sadness and breaking hearts that we announce the passing of Martha Anne Corrigan. Born on October 21, 1991, she was the daughter of Mary Paula (Kelly) and Herbert
James Corrigan.
Martha was born on Prince Edward Island. She loved to travel and spent much of her young adult life doing so before settling down into motherhood. She had a passion for nutrition and loved to prepare exotic meals for her friends and family that she learned from her travels. She had just graduated from a Women Building Futures Trades Program in Edmonton AB, and was excited to get out into the trades industry.
Her daughter Ella was her world. Martha loved to hear Ella’s infectious laugh and encouraged Ella’s sense of humour. Their favourite thing to do was experience foods at non-traditional restaurants.
Along with her daughter, Ella Yohannes, Martha will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her father Herbert (Linda) Corrigan, her sisters Kathleen (Steve) and Deanna, her brother Joshua Corrigan, her nieces Kitt and Seylah and her nephew Shepard, many aunts, uncles, cousins and her friends from across Canada.
Martha was predeceased by her Mother Paula, Her grandparents, Frank and Teresa (MacIntyre) Kelly, and Herbert and Eulalie (Hughes) Corrigan.
In leu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the education fund made for Martha’s daughter, Ella at www.gofundme.com/f/ella039s-education-fund-in-memory-of-martha
