MARTA VIERAITIS
MARCH 11, 1930 – JANUARY 19, 2020
Marta Vieraitis, of Tillsonburg passed away peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of Jonas for 72 years. Proud and loving mother of Donna Victor (Darin) of Cambridge and John Vieraitis (Nadine Belous) of Tillsonburg. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Marta lived a full and happy life as an avid cook, she loved entertaining. She enjoyed many adventures in travel with trips to Montreal, Florida, Lithuania and Wasaga Beach. Marta also enjoyed shopping and gardening. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm with Father John Staskevicius and Pastor Paul Schallhorn officiating. Interment will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Following the interment, a celebration of life (with luncheon) will be held at the Lions Auditorium, 45 Hardy Ave, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 3W9. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stoke Foundation, Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the Vieraitis family.
