Obituary
SARGENT, MARK – It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mark Norman Sargent, age 65 of Sarnia on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Bluewater Health. He was the loving husband of Kathy (Roberts) Sargent and dear father of Ryan and Chris. He is also survived by his mother Helen (Sparling) Sargent, his brother Rick (Virginia) and his sister Cindy Sargent, brother in law of Steve Sharp (Sharon), Sue Kiernan, Dennis Sharp, Kris Straub (Steve), Colleen Roberts, Tony Roberts, Tim Roberts (Maria). Many much loved nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was predeceased by his father Norman “Sarge” (2018), sisterin law Anna Roberts and brother in law Kiernan. Mark had retired after 27 years of devoted service with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Mark was involved with the Masonic Lodge and his main hobby was his wife Kathy and the family. A private graveside service will be will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations made in memory of Mark to the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
