Dufresne, Mark John
It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Mark John Dufresne on May 2, 2020 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 68 years. Dearly loved husband of Dawn (nee Speirs) of 46 years. Loving father of Marissa Catena (Shawn) and Michael Dufresne (Jessica). Cherished grandfather of Baxter, Baron, Gia, Liam and Myrah (on the way). Dear brother of Peter Dufresne (Jennifer), Janet Dufresne-Raza (Sy). He will be sadly missed by his canine companions Maggie and Gizmo and by his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Jean-Marc and Rita Dufresne (nee Bucci) and his brother Paul Dufresne. The family would like to thank Dr. K. Locke for her compassion and care during Mark’s illness. We appreciate all that was done. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium. Donations to a Sick Kids Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
