Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Dilsner on March 31, 2020 due to a sudden heart attack. Mark was born in Gravelbourg, SK, the youngest of 3 boys, and grew up on the family farm. Mark was passionate about everything he did. In his school years he played volleyball, badminton, and almost every other sport available. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and went on to a career in technology, sales and management; and at the time of his passing was a Vice President with Directwest. In 1995, he married the love of his life Carol and they were blessed with 2 children, Kaitlyn and Ian. Mark always had a project going and worked with his hands. He and his wife landscaped their yard with a gorgeous big pond, fruit and ornamental trees; he loved his fruit trees. He often spent time mechanically fixing something with his son, or building or renovating their home. He loved the Lord with his whole heart. He and Carol taught their children from a young age about the love of God. His family meant everything to him. His greatest joy was vacations with his family. He is survived by his loving wife Carol, daughter Kaitlyn, son Ian, parents Sam and Ruby, brothers Roger (Violet) and Ed (Carla) and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Mission:180 Kenya Children’s Homes at www.mission180.ca. A Private Family Service will be held.
