Hawthorne: Helen Marjorie (Bloom) –
A resident of Ridgetown, Marjorie Hawthorne passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on February 15, 2020 at the age of 76.
Born in Bothwell, Marjorie was the daughter of the late William and Lyda (Sinclair) Bloom.
Beloved wife of 57 years to James R. Hawthorne of Ridgetown.
Loving mother to James W. (Colleen) Hawthorne, Michael (Mary Ann) Hawthorne, Mark (Leslie) Hawthorne, and Robert (Marlene) Hawthorne.
Grandmother to Tyler (Elisabeth), Kara, Hayley (John), Kristy (Jeff), Ryan, Grace, Austin, and Sydney.
Great grandmother to Morgan, Hazel, and Charlotte.
Survived by sisters Dorothy Dark (late Raymond), Mary Louise Butler (Lee), John Bloom (Shirley).
Sister in law to John Hawthorne (Shirley).
Marjorie loved her Southwest Regional Centre and Christian Horizons extended families. At her request cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
A private family celebration of life will take place in the spring.
