Obituary
Parker, Marjorie Joyce (Atkinson). It is with great sadness, that the family of Marjorie Parker announce her passing at Hospice House Fredericton on July 14, 2020. Marjorie was born in New Salem, NS on January 7, 1937 to the late Macy and Clifford Atkinson.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Debbie Burke, sons; Trevor Parker, Clinton Rector, Pernell Rector, four grandchildren; Briana, Brett, Brenden, Kevin, great granddaughter, Emersyn, great grandson Beckett, sister-in-law, Susanne (Lloyd) McCann, brother-in-law, Murray Parker and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband (52years), Patrick (Jan.2020), her son, Kirk, brother, Derrah Atkinson, son-in-law, Brent Burke and sister-in-law Phyllis Parker.
Marjorie was a waitress for Irving Big Stops, cashier at Welsford Irving and kitchen and retail sales at DND. Once retired, Marjorie and Patrick spent time with their family, watching grandchildren play hockey, hunting and fishing and having everyone out at the camp.
There will be no public visitation or funeral per Marjorie’s wishes. A private family memorial will take place at a later date. Arrangements are in the Professional Care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, NB (368-2413). Condolences:sunburyfuneralhome.com
