In loving memory of Marjorie Mulloy (Nee Vickers) who passed away peacefully at her home in Pioneer Manor on Saturday April 11, 2020 at the age of 98.
Beloved wife of Michael “Mike” Mulloy (predeceased 2007), cherished mother of John (Margaret) and Donald (predeceased 2017). Born in Sudbury Marjorie was the daughter of Thomas and Annie Vickers (Todhunter) and sister to Reginald, Elsie (Denault) and Edith (Workman) all predeceased. Loving grandmother to Andrew (Jennifer), Jordan and Alex (Kathleen). Sadly missed by nieces and nephews Wendy (Brian) Kuruliak, Judy (Marcel) Depatie, Barry Denault (Dianne Ransom), Brian Workman and Kent Workman (predeceased). Also greatly missed by nieces and nephews of the Cormack and Bell families.
Marjorie was a graduate of the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing and worked for many years in the newborn nursery of the Sudbury General Hospital. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star as well as a past member of the Rebecca Assembly. She was a devoted member of St. Andrews United Church Sudbury. Always ready with a smile, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A special thank you to Drs. Guy Mongeon and Raymond Jacques as well as the staff of Amberwood Suites and Pioneer Manor who contributed so much to her care and enjoyment over the final years of her life.
There will be a celebration of her life at a later date. In her memory, donations to St. Andrew’s United Church Sudbury would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home, www.lougheed.org.
