Obituary
It is with sadness the family of Marjorie Arthurs announce her death which occurred at Palliative Care at the Saint John Regional Hospital with her loving family at her side on Tuesday October 13th, 2020. Born in Saint John on August 22, 1930; she was the daughter of the late Burton and Essie (Warwick) Seely.
Marjorie worked at National Canadian Drugs for many years, later married and was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to socialize and was thoughtful and kind to all who had the pleasure to know her. Marjorie also loved time spent at the family cottage in Buckley’s Cove. She is survived by her son David (Cathy); precious grandchildren Jacob, Jenny Arthurs, Jamie Cyr (Tim) and great-granddaughter Riley and step granddaughters Rylie, Raegan and Reese. Along with her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Royden Arthurs; son John Arthurs and sister Jean Seely.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) By request there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations in Marjorie’s memory can be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
