It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Mario peacefully at Juravinski Hospital, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 51 on December 26, 2020. Mario is survived by his loving spouse and best friend Rosa of 26 years. Loving father to his pride and joy Filippo. Loving son to Desiderato (Danny) D’Angelo and the late Pierina (née Bucco). Devoted son-in-law to Filippo and Calogera Cimino. Dearest brother and brother-in-law of Romano and Dorianna D’Angelo, Margherita D’Angelo, Carmine and Carmela Pagliaro, and Sam Cimino. Devoted Zio to Daniel and Tabitha, Matthew, Julia, Lillianna, Teresa-Marie and Michael. Mario is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends throughout Canada and Italy. Mario had a great passion and talent for restoring vehicles and hunting. He will be sadly missed by his hunting dogs Spike and Preacher. Mario was most proud of his family. He will be fondly remembered for his kindness and generosity. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff from the ICU departments of Hamilton Health Sciences for their compassionate care.
