BROWN – Marilyn Grace
Passed away peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital on December 23, 2020, Marilyn Brown of Simcoe formerly of Hamilton in her 88th year. Wife of the late Fred Brown (2010). Dear mother of Jeffrey Brown (Cheryl Marie) of London and Jennifer Elaine Lewis (Brian) of Leland N.C. Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Bethany), Scott (Lindsey), Krystal (Jordan), and Melissa (Nathan), and great grandmother of Gwyneth, Niamh, Sammy, Theo, Trayce, Emily, Ian and Isabella. She was predeceased by her brother Austin Hopkins and her sister Constance Strickland. Marilyn was a member of St. James United Church and the choir in Simcoe as well as a member of the Choral Bells in Hamilton, founding member of the Hamilton Theatre Company, member of the Centenary United Church choir and the Dofasco Chorus, Hamilton. She was also a resident of Port Charlotte, Florida for twenty plus years. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Those wishing to remember Marilyn may donate to Doctors Without Borders, Crones and Colitis Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
