Obituary of Marilou Paulsen
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marilou Cecelia Paulsen (nee Stadnyk). Marilou passed away peacefully in the early morning of Monday July 27, 2020 at the age of 79, where she was comforted by her loved ones at home in the hours of her passing. Although Marilou touched many lives in her career as a Special Care Aide, her greatest love and continued legacy are her children and grandchildren. She had an unwavering dedication to her family and ensured that everyone was always taken care of. Marilou is survived by her children; Kellie (Duane) Hart, Darren, Don (Cari), Doug (Marcy), Dean (Barb), & David. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Stephanie (Ryan), Courtney (Lane), Josh (Brenna), Jordan (Kennedy), Dallas (Jen), Desiree, Daniel, Tyra, Dylan (Haylee), & Taylor; sisters-in-law Darlene Green, Terry Paulsen and brother-in-law Bob Green. She was pre-deceased by her husband Alvin, parents Dave and Alice Stadnyk, brother Walter Stadnyk, sister Arlene Karapinka, mother & father-in-law Mary and Oscar Paulsen, brothers-in-law Dudley Paulsen and Joe Karapinka and sister-in-law Iris Stadnyk. Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to CPAS and the Palliative Home Care team for their invaluable support and compassion during this difficult time. Livestreaming of the service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31.
