1944 – 2020
It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Marietta (Sookie) Wahnschaff (nee Hadikin). Marietta passed away peacefully in her home on April 22, 2020.
Marietta, a caretaker at heart, known for her kindness, generosity, her love for her pets as well as her dedication to her lovely garden and flowers, will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
Cremation has taken place with no service by request.
As an expression of sympathy, a donation in Sookie’s memory and love of animals, can be made to Nelson SPCA, 520-C, Falls Street, Nelson, BC V1L 6B5.
