The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Golden Manor on Monday, September 28, 2020 at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of late Leo J. Lagacé (2001). Loving mother of Lucien Lagacé (late Jocelyn Bertrand – 1997) of Timmins, Lizette Carnell (Chris) of Ottawa and Hélène Lagacé (Grant Robertson) of Edmonton. Cherished grandmother of Christian, Marc, Pascale, Jennnifer and Stephanie. She is survived by her great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Henri and Elizabeth St-Gelais, her 1 brother and her 4 sisters. Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2020 from the chapel of Miron-Wislon Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. on Friday at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins. Due to COVID-19 Pandemic directives, masks and social distancing measures will be required. 20 people maximum will be permitted in the visitation room and 40 people maximum will be permitted in the chapel for the service, and no gathering is permitted outside.
