It is with great sadness that the family of Marie Frances Gosse announce that on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 she passed peacefully away with her family by her side while in her 79th year. Marie is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Austin Gosse who she loved and missed dearly, we take comfort in believing that they are together again. Marie leaves to mourn her son, Kevin (Sandra) Gosse and daughter, Helen (Rod) Hanlon. She was a loving and caring Grandmother to Jessica, Danielle (Andrew), Michael (Courtney) and special grand puppy, Morris. She also leaves to mourn her siblings, James (Chick) O’Neill, Jean Goodyear, Nellie (Walter) Smith, Patrick (Merle) O’Neill, Janet Boland, Sandra (Ed) Quinlan, Sylvia (Gord) Manuel, Terry (Linda) O’Neill and countless nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents James and Agnes O’Neill of Colinet, her sisters, Mable Wall and Pauline Power and brother, Joe O’Neill as well as her special Aunt Nellie Russell. We would like to extend a tremendous “Thank You” to all the medical staff who cared for Mom and helped us along the way. A special “Thank You” to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center, Rosemore Home Care Workers and to the Palliative Care Unit at the L. A. Miller Centre; your care and compassion has been so appreciated. Cremation has been entrusted to Caul’s Funeral Home and a private Funeral Service will take place at Holy Trinity Church on Thursday, June 25, 2020 with inurnment to follow at the RC Cemetery on Bauline Line, Torbay. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie’s memory may be made to the Holy Trinity Parish of Torbay.
