MORTEZOF, Maria
It is with great sadness to announce the peaceful passing of Maria Mortezof on December 19 in her 80th year surrounded by her loved ones.
Beloved mother of Angela and Adam, daughter-in-law (Danielle) proud grandmother to Bianca and Danny.
Predeceased by mother Angela, father Costas, and brother Micheal. Maria was born in Athens, Greece and came to Canada at the age of 19 years old.
Working in London as a wedding seamstress for 35 years, Maria loved putting smiles on 100’s of brides and bridesmaids faces with her tiredness hard work.
Special thank you to Elmwood Place Longterm Care, Victoria and University hospital for their relentless work to ensure the greatest care.
Cremation has occurred, family will do a private ceremony.
