Obituary of Maria Johanna Wainwright (de Mon)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria J. (de Mon) Wainwright which occurred on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born, February 22, 1927, in Amsterdam, Holland, she was the daughter of the late Andries and Henrietta (Heyligers) de Mon.
Maria was a loving and caring wife and mother, she is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Reginald; daughter, Barbara; son, Norman and his wife Lilianna; grandchildren, Nicholas, and Tiffany; great-grandchild, Zoe. In addition to her parents, Maria was predeceased by her brother, Luke, and sister-in-law, Trudy.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). In keeping with Maria’s wishes, there will not be any services.
