Maria Peluso It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Maria Peluso, wife of deceased Antonio Peluso. Loving Mother to Damiano (Nicoletta) and Diana (Mario) Grandmother to Krizia, Antonio, Vittorio and Daniel. She will forever be remembered as a loving sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.
She loved life, but to her, being surrounded by those she loved was all she wanted. Through the years she was everyone’s babysitter and best friend. Maria lived in the same home for over 50 years and was secretly known as “Brookhaven’s secret service.” She was born in Montalto Uffugo Italy, and was raised in a Monastery from an early age. She moved to Toronto when she was 17 and started working in a tie factory. There is where she met our dad Tony, and they fell in love instantly and created a beautiful and happy home together, the rest is history. She loved her 2 kids, but her 4 grandchildren were her world. She shared this same love with all her nieces and nephews and their children as well.
You would instantly know when she entered a room. She was the life of the party. Her smile captivated you and her love of life and sense of humor made her a joy to be around.
She will be deeply missed but ALWAYS remembered.
In her honor, we are asking that in lieu of flowers, you kindly donate to Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill.
And in her words… “I lovvvaaa you sooo much!”
