Maria (Mary) Klym
On August 13, 2020, Mrs. Maria (Mary) Klym of Smoky Lake, AB passed away at the age of 94 years.
Mary is survived by her loving children, Louise (Ken) Van Iderstine, Don (Noreen), Natalka (Wayne) Strilesky, Christine (Roger) Capus, Eugene (Sue), and Barbara (Bob) Patterson; daughter-in-law, Linda Klym; fourteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Bill (Vasily) Klym; brother, Alec Mazurik and sister-in-law Mary Mazurik; son, Taras and daughter-in-law Brenda; grandchildren, Taralyn, Jordon, and Mykayla; parents, Ilko and Kalyna Mazurik; and her husband’s parents and sisters.
A private family ceremony will take place on Saturday, August 22 with Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie officiating. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Holy Ascension Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Highland Community Hall of Barich Society, or another charity of your choice.
