Verissimo, Maria Luisa:
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at 3:35 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at her home at the age of 82.
Beloved wife of Manuel for 58 years.
Loving mother of Natalia (Richard) Fosse.
Cherished and proud Avò of Milan (Doug) Schnock, Natasha (Jeremy) Eybel and Stian Fosse (Caitlin Moyes)
Great-Avò of Emilia Schnock, Hudson Eybel and Ayden Fosse.
Dear sister of Eulália Rego.
Predeceased by her parents Francisco and Maria Luisa Garraz, brother Joe Garraz and sister Adelaide Alves.
Luisa was an active member of St. Mary’s of the Purification RC Church.
Luisa’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2 – 4 p.m. & 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18th, 2020 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. Visitation will continue from 11 – 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, November 18th, 2020 at St. Mary’s of the Purification RC Church, 230 Queen St. E., Mount Forest, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12 p.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mount Forest. Those wishing to attend Maria’s visitation and service must RSVP through the funeral home website or by calling 519-749-8467. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, 15 minutes will be given to share your condolences and guests are required to wear a face mask.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
