LIMA, Maria DeJesus Azevedo
Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at St.
Andrew’s Terrace, Cambridge on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at
age 94 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Joao Pereira Lima.
Survived by her children Joao Herberto Lima, Eulalia (Lia) Chaves
(Joe) and Luis (Lou) Lima (Trish). Cherished grandmother of Joey,
Jason (Janice), Pedro, Dianna (Ben), Alex and Nick. Great-grandmother
of Aliyah, Logan, Jayden, Lucas, Julian, Alison and Juniper. Also by
nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Predeceased by
parents Mariano Azevedo and Maria Garcia Azevedo and daughter Maria
Guiomar Lima. A funeral service will be held at Corbett Funeral Home,
95 Dundas St. N., Cambridge, N1R 5N6 (519) 740-0669 on Friday January
24th 2020 at 1p.m., with visitation and a reception to follow. We
would like to extend our deepest affection and gratitude to the nurses
and staff at St Andrews Terrace (Cedarwood Wing); especially nurses
Jolene, Holly, Sheila, Karen and PSW’s that dealt with Mom day
and night. Your constant care and compassion shown to her and to us in
our hour of sorrow, will never be forgotten. “God Bless you
