GROULX, Marguerite (née Blanchette)
The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Monday, March 23, 2020 at the age of 71 years. Beloved wife of Leo-Paul Groulx. Loving daughter of the late Roger Blanchette and Lilian (née Ross) O’Neil. Loving mother of Anne Groulx and Robert Groulx. Dear sister of Diane (Roland), Yvette (Dave), Lise Marie (Germain), Anita, Cecile (Claude), and Georges (Sheryl). Predeceased by her siblings Denis, Victor, and Marcel. Cherished grandmother of Samantha, Katheryn, Kaitlyn, and Mathew and great-grandmother to Jason. Throughout her life, Marguerite also devoted herself to serving the community: The Grotto of Sudbury; Right to Life and service to its faith communities Sainte-Anne-de-Pins and St-Dominique and Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola at the University of Sudbury. Marguerite was a woman of great generosity and availability, working with the people regarding the organizations she was passionate about. Visitation to be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home, Sudbury.
