1936-2020
Marguerite Joyce Lewis, 83 of the Jordan LifeCare
Centre, The Glades and formerly of Middle passed away Saturday,
July 18, 2020 at her residence.
Born in Riverside Albert, she was the daughter of
the late Howard and Pauline (Fillmore) Snider, and widow of Stuart
Lewis. Marguerite was a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting,
bingo and stock car races.
She is survived and sadly missed by her children,
Eric Magarvey (Pam), Norma Geldart (Mike), Brian Bernard (Bonnie),
Nancy Jinson and Lisa Lewis (Peter); step-children, Elizabeth
MacCallum (late Lester), Dale (Krista), Randy (Maxine),
Allen (Cindy); brother, Gerald Snider; sister, Estelle
Larone (late Ron); several grandchildren, great grandchildren and
nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Marguerite was
predeceased by a brother, Stuart Snider.
There will be a private family graveside service
at the Middle Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury
Funeral Home (372-4800).
The family would like to express sincere
appreciation to the staff at the Jordan LifeCare Centre for the
wonderful care Marguerite received.
If desired, memorials to Friends of the Jordan
LifeCare Centre Foundation or the Middle Cemetery would be
appreciated by the family.
