Passed away peacefully, with her daughters by her side, on Sunday, January 19th, 2020 in Ingersoll, Ontario in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late William Herb Cliffe. Much loved mother of Marlene (Don) George and Pat Prubant (Dave).
Special Nana to Jennifer (Mark) Wieclawski, Adam (Tabitha) Prubant and Ian (Rebecca) Prubant. Awesome More Nana to Lila, Riley, Liam, Cole and the very new Scarlett.
Margot is predeceased by her brother Jack and her parents Miriam (Mim) and Edward (Ted) May. Margot was most proud of her work with the Library of Parliament in her final years of working and spoke often of it. She loved and missed her hometown of Ottawa and she will now be at peace as she returns there. Family and friends may visit at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt), Ottawa on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Capital Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, please consider a memorial donation in Margot’s memory to the Alzheimer Society or to Woodingford Lodge, 325 Thames Street South, Ingersoll, Ontario N5C 2T8 who lovingly cared for her the past 2 years.
