Margaret Gertrude Martin 1930 2020

Obituary of Margaret Gertrude Martin
Margaret passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Bobby’s Hospice in Saint John. She was born May 17, 1930, in Arthurette, Victoria County to William “Bill” and Bertha (Sprague) Price.
Margaret graduated Bath High School in 1948. On November 20, 1948, she married Leroy Martin and had four children, ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Margaret will be remembered as a faithful and loving wife, “Mom”, “Nan”, and friend. She was the force of love gravity that held our family together. Most important to Mom was her Christian faith. This faith expressed in love and the assurance of eternity in Heaven gave her supernatural peace. Margaret will be fondly remembered as a faithful member of Kennebecasis Baptist Church, where Leroy, at the age of 80, celebrated baptism into eternal life. Mom joins Leroy in an invitation to all her loved one to join her in Glory.
Margaret will be deeply missed by her loving children; Bryan (Nancy) of Plano, Texas, Greg (Jackie) of Saint John, and Brent (Beatrice) of Riyadh, KSA, her cherished ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren, whom she adored.
Besides her loving husband, Leroy, Margaret is predeceased by her daughter Brenda, and grandson Jamie Allen.
Arrangements are under the care of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119). Due to current health advisories, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
