Obituary of Margaret Florence Goudreau
A resident of St. Marys, formerly of Ridgetown, Margaret Goudreau passed away at the Seaforth Long Term Care Home on September 9, 2020 at the age of 91.
Born in Ridgetown, Margaret was the daughter of the late James and Ellen (Buller) Hearns.
Beloved wife of 29 years to the late Gerard Goudreau (2010).
Dear mother to the late Lynda (2018) (Roger) Lapierre, Glenda Vanstone (late Dennis McCauley) of Stratford, late David Pickard (2012), Danny Pickard of Quesnel, B.C., Theresa Lamond of St. Marys, and the late Douglas Pickard (2004).
Grandmother of Melissa, James, Roger, Philomene, Laura, Brett, late Christien, Brandy, Karen, Amanda, Christine, Garrett, Natalie, Anthony, and Teri Lynn.
Sister to the late Betty Smith (late John), late Arthur Hearns (Frances), late Velma Steinburg (Peter), and Barbara (late Doug).
Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Margaret enjoyed gardening, canning her own food and smelting with her family.
Visitation will take place on Friday September 11, 2020 at McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main St. East, Ridgetown. The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday September 12, 2020 at 11:00am with interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
