McAllister, Margaret Willene Age
92 of Sherbrooke, passed away in St. Mary’s Memorial
Hospital Sherbrooke, on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, after having a stroke
while living at home. She was the eldest daughter of the late Gordon
and Marie MacIntosh, of Waternish, with siblings Tom, Arnold, Shirley,
Russell and Joan. Margaret was pre-deceased by her husband, Larry and
son Kevin. Left to mourn are her children, James, Judy (Claude),
Montreal and Linda (David), Sherbrooke; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-
grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and their families. The family
would like to thank Owen Beaver and Margie Jordan for the many times
they drove our mom to cards and bingo, which she really enjoyed. Thank
you to Linda MacIntosh for her many visits and for helping out in so
many ways and to Emily, her home-care worker, for her much appreciated
support. We would also like to thank the entire staff of St.
Mary’s Memorial Hospital for their kindness and caring,
especially Margie and Val. If you would like to donate on
Margaret’s behalf, please support our local hospital
“which does the very best to help us all”. Cremation has
taken place and there will be a private family funeral at a later
date. Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and compassionate
care of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, 34 Main Street, Sherbrooke. On-line
