Margaret Vataman 2020

Margaret Vataman, 91, of Saskatoon, Sk, went to meet her Lord peacefully on January 6, 2020.
Margaret was born October 10, 1928, the fourth child in a family of 13, at Melaval, Sk. She attended country schools and finished her high school years working for board and room at the Gravelbourg Catholic Convent. It was there she learned French, which she later taught. After completing normal school she began her career in teaching. She continued her own education, earning a Bachelors Degree in both Arts and Education. She spent several years teaching grade 12 history. Marg enjoyed her students very much and related many stories about them.
Marg also excelled at basketball, softball and curling. She coached many teams during her career.
Marg discovered a talent in art when she took up watercolour painting. She attended camps at Emma Lake in the summers to enhance this gift.
Retirement provided Marg with opportunities for travel and golf, both of which she enjoyed very much.
Margaret loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart and desired to serve him through her life. She delighted in getting to know him better through studying His Word and taking classes at various Bible Schools.
A memorial service will be held late in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Margaret Vataman 2020..
