Obituary
WINSOR, Margaret Rose (nee Martin) – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Margaret Rose Winsor, aged 73. Margaret passed away suddenly, but peacefully, in the presence of her family on September 2, 2020 at The Health Sciences Centre. She is predeceased by her parents Ralph and Amelia; and her brother Eric. Leaving to mourn, her husband of 52 years, James; her adoring children: Wendy (Obie), Jimmy (Jeanine) and Debbie (Phil); as well as her grandchildren: Julia, Alexandria, Connor and Cameron, the lights of her life; sister Barbara (Gerald); and special nieces: Heather, Jillian and Tracy. Margaret is also mourned by her sister-in-law and best friend, Christine; as well as a large circle of close friends and relatives. Margaret was caring and kind, loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Flowers will be kindly accepted or donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation in her memory. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday, September 9th from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Funeral service to take place at St. Michael and All Angels, 75 Kiwanis Street, on Thursday, September 10th at 2:00 PM. Space is limited and those wishing to attend must register beforehand at www.michaelmas.ca/funeral-register. REGISTRATION CANNOT TAKE PLACE AT THE DOOR. Interment to take place at a later date.
