KAPPEL, Margaret
November 11, 1930 – March 14, 2020
It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce that Margaret passed away on March 14, 2020 after a brief illness surrounded by her loving husband and family. Margaret will be sadly missed by her husband Roy Kappel and her children Fred (Joanne), Clifford (Barb), Randy, Perry, Jocelyn (Dwayne Schaab), Lyndon (Linda), Givanna Freyling, Diedre (Trent Keller), Keith (Shannon), Marney (Jeff Reinhart), 20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and one sister Betty Howe. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Terrance and Alice Lanigan, parents-in-law Richard and Evelyn Kappel, sisters Mary Lindsay, Ignatia Grams, Agnes Kappel, Bernadette Tremblay, and brothers Martin Lanigan, David Lanigan and Albert Lanigan. The Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Church (301 Ave. Y S.) in Saskatoon with Rev. Fr. Andrew Wychucki as Celebrant. The Rite of Committal will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Leipzig Saint Paschal Cemetery in Leipzig, SK. Arrangements in care of John Schachtel – Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.
