It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Hedlund announces her passing on February 16, 2020, at the age of 88 years. Margaret lived her entire life on homesteaded land in the Waskatenau area. She was predeceased by her husband, Arne (2002), her daughter, Alice (1985), and her parents, Vieno and Uuno Snellman.
Margaret is survived by her daughter Elaine; her grandchildren Trevor, Christopher, Carmen (Patrick), and Erik; and her brother Ahti Snellman.
Many thanks to the staff at the Radway Contnuing Care Centre for making her comfortable in her final days.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Sprucefield Cemetery at noon on July 18, 2020. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
