Margaret Goertzen 2020

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a much loved Mother, Grandma, Sister and Aunt on November 6, 2020 at the age of 74, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” (2011). Cherished Mom of Wendy and husband Stephen, the late Andrew (2011), Cindy and husband Ken, and Rusty. Adored and devoted Grandma of Paige, Jacob, Zachary, Sarah and Abigail. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Mary Elias and husband Jake, and Anne Rowe, both of Alberta, and predeceased by her siblings Sara, Henry (survived by Bea), Helen (survived by Ben) and Betty (survived by Gerald).
Margaret loved her garden, and enjoyed all the time spent growing her vegetables and flowers. After her retirement, Margaret loved to go on cruises, but most of all, she cherished her family dearly. Every holiday was a celebration. Margaret courageously endured until she was called home.
If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
