Bernard (Ben) Marchak
It is with great sadness and love that we announce the passing of Bernard (Ben) Marchak, on December 22, 2020, at the age of 93. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 61 years Cecilia and son Bernie, sisters in law Mary Marchak and Jennie Marchak. He is also survived by his nieces; Lillian (Orest), Betty (Sam), Lorraine (Roger), Maureen (Bill), Karen, Wilma (David), Elaine, Maryane (Larry), and nephew David, as well as many great nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters in law. He was predeceased by his parents; Joseph and Rose, brothers; Frank, Paul, John, Steve and Nick, sisters; Mildred Horpynuik and Marie Yaworowski, sister in law Phyllis Marchak, brothers in law; Matt Horpynuik and Bill Yaworowski.
A special thank you to the Doctors and staff at the Fort Saskatchewan Hospital and the Edmonton General Palliative Care Centre, for their care and in making Ben’s final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible.
