Malcolm Keith “Skoda”‘s Obituary
God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
Keith, the first born boy in the Pugwash hospital, loved his home town and before his heart attack 20 years ago used to say he put a little of his hometown on his food every day. His imagination, intelligence, sense of humor and dedication to those things he held dear served him well over the years. Both in his occupation as a social worker and in his volunteer activities, he was a selfless helper and supporter of others. His philosophy of life was more than words, it imbued his actions with purpose for more than 50 years. Throughout his life, in whichever town or province he lived, Keith affected those with whom he had contact, those who still remember him fondly. He passed away peacefully, under the caring attention of family and staff of Evergreen Nursing Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mundle’s Funeral Home, Pugwash. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting the funeral home website at www.mmcfunerals.com
