Obituary
With great sadness, the family of Malcolm (Danny) McPhee announces his passing, which occurred on February 29, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, with his loving wife Linda by his side. Born on January 26, 1931 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Angus and Margaret (Kedey) McPhee. Danny enjoyed a long career with Air Canada, retiring after nearly 37 years of service. A life-long sports enthusiast, he was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees and Montreal Canadiens. He was well known within the bowling community, winning multiple provincial and Maritime championships. Danny is survived by his wife, Linda (Green), his children Billy (Linda), Saint John; Terry (Cathy), Miramichi; Cathy, Edmonton, AB; Marilyn (Matt) Reid, and Jeffrey, all of Saint John; his grandchildren, Tricia, Cass, Tristan, Josie, Andrew, Mark and Michael; his great-grandchildren Olivia, Chloe, and Addison. In addition to his parents, Danny was pre-deceased his brother Donald, his sister, Betty Black, and his first wife, Ruby (Mott).
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 4th at 11:00 a.m., from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at St. Andrew’s United Kirk Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
