For those that knew Margaret would say that she was a kind and generous person who was always one to help those in need. This is one of the things that had driven her to help found the Lukemia Research Fund over in the United Kingdom. In 1964 Margaret had moved to Canada and quickly took on nursing at Hotel Dieu Hospital here in Kingston. Margaret was a fierce advocate for those that she loved but in particular her children.
We would like to extend our thanks to all the Paramed’s and Personal Support Workers who had helped Margaret along the way. A special note to staff at Kingston General Hospital for the great level of care that was given to her. A big thank you to anyone else who may have touched Margaret’s life.
