Obituary of Mae Annie Rose Sweeney
Sweeney, Mae Annie Rose (Kells)
Mae passed away in Lanark Lodge, Perth on Monday, December 28th, 2020 at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Vernon James Sweeney, daughter Dianne Labelle, parents Edward and Agnes (Ranger) Kells and siblings Alphonsus Kells, Doris (Wilmer) Lee, Dorothy (Arnold) Manion, Edith (Norman) Manion, Bridget (Fred) Martin and Shirley (Bert) Watson.
Mae was the loved mother of Glen (Theresa Radmore) Sweeney, Gail (late Brian) Wright, Vivian (Wayne) Brash, Tony (Mona) Sweeney, and mother-in law to Eric Labelle. Mae will be sadly missed by her sister Gladys (late Eric) Lee, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and all her extended family and friends.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions the funeral service and interment will be held privately for the family. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
In remembrance of Mae, contributions to Alzheimers Society of Lanark County, 115 Christie Lake Road, Perth, K7H 3C6 would be appreciated. The family would like to thank all the staff at Lanark Lodge for the wonderful care Mae received while she lived there.
