Madeline Fagan 2020

Madeline Fagan
January 08, 1931 – August 03, 2020

It is with sadness that the family of Madeline Fagan wishes to inform that she passed away peacefully at Kenny’s Pond Retirement Home on Monday 3rd August 2020. Madeline was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mary Fagan (nee Martin), sister Florence and brother Tom. Left with fond and loving memories are her sisters Gertrude Griffiths (Stan, deceased), Mary Blyde (Jerry), and sister-in-law Evelyn (Tom, deceased). Madeline also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Madeline retired from teaching in 1990 and spent most of her 30+year career as a special education teacher at St. Patrick’s Hall School. Teaching and the School Lunch Association were Madeline’s passions.
Madeline would want us to thank everyone who helped care for her in her later years and asked that they dwell on the happy memories shared.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitation will be for family only on Thursday, August 6th, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 7th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. St. Teresa’s Church, followed by interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Madeline’s memory to the School Lunch Association; a charity she felt was needed during her teaching career.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Madeline Fagan 2020..
