Peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, October 22, 2020. Mary MacDonald, age 97 of Bancroft, was the beloved husband of the late George MacDonald. Loving mother of Joyce, Lois (Gordon), Donnie, Annie, Bobbie (Yvonne), Rosemary (Wayne), Lloyd, Nancy (Philip), Ralph (Lil), Diane, Darlene (Kelly), Terry (Becky), Dale (Tracy), and Brian (Ann). Predeceased by her children Albert, Sheldon, Harry, Clarence and David. Loved grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. Sister of Liz, Verna and Findlay. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle (311 Hastings St. N., Bancroft) on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor John Riley officiating. Interment will follow at Emmanuel Cemetery, Maple Leaf. Due to COVID-19, strict visitation and service restrictions will be in place.
