Peacefully after a long and courageous battle with Cancer at home surrounded by family on Saturday December 5, 2020. Lynn Diane Gleason of Brockville aged 73 years. Loving wife and best friend of 51 years to Denny. Treasured and proud mom to Troy Gleason (Ellen) and Trent Gleason both of Brockville. Beloved Nannie to Paige, Olivia, Breck and Baron Gleason. Lynn is also survived by her dear friend Linda Taylor, step-sister Karen Smith as well as extended family. Predeceased by her parents Lillian and Bruce “Pop” Davidson. Lynn was most proud of her Thanksgiving Supper of 2020 when she was able to sit at the same table as her 4 grandchildren for the first time in years.
A Private Family Celebration of Life will be held with interment at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence may be made online at www.barclayfuneralhome.com.

  1. Dear Denny AND Family – ‘Our’ Lady fought the good fight for so long – with strength, dignity and support of love from family, friends and neighbours! Her strength, with a continued smile, always amazed us. Lynn was always giving of herself no matter what she was enduring at the time. Even when you know it’s coming – it doesn’t make it any easier at the end of the day. We will miss her so much – she was always only a breath away – and knowing she was there made ‘our’ house a home ……….. Denny and Lynn ‘made’ our neighbours – we lucked in big time. Our hearts break and we continue to take what little comfort possible in knowing she is no longer in pain. Our Love, Admiration and Respect continues on. Denny anything you need – or the family – we are but a pavement away. Love and Sincere condolences, C&J Belland xooxo
