Obituary
EAGLES, Linda Marlene May 14, 1946 – Nov 11, 2020 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother Lynn. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 30 years, William “Bill” Eagles, son Jeff (Shelley) Harrison, daughter Terrie Pickering (Kevin), grandchildren Hailey (Connor), Matthew, Leah (Spencer) and Ella. Mom was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario, where she raised her children. Lynn and Bill moved to Alberta in 2005 to get away from the big city. Lynn joined the Royal Purple Society 2011, with the following positions; Guard 2012-2013, Historian 2013-2015, Chaplin 2015-2018 and Lecturing Lady 2018-2020. She took pride in helping with many different organizations especially the Royal Canadian Legion. Lynn’s world revolved around her grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting and crafting gifts for others and especially her grandbabies. The Family would like to thank Dr. T Rimmer for his exceptional and compassionate care and Pastor Norm Sowden for his spiritual care and comfort. We would like to thank you to Nursing Home Care and Home Support for all their special care. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
