Obituary of Lynette Sykes
SYKES – Lynette (nee Knoflook) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully with her family at her side at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the age of 52. Loving wife of Chris Sykes for 24+ years. Loving mother of Zachary Sykes (Kallen McNamara) and Brennan Sykes; daughter of Johanna and the late Frank Knoflook; and sister to Kenneth (Cindy) Knoflook, Keith (Debra) Knoflook, JoAnn (Terry) Baker, and Franklin (Susan) Knoflook. Predeceased by her two brothers David and Ron Knoflook. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. COVID-19 protocols will be implemented. The funeral service will be held at Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 641 Elm St, St Thomas on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Fairhaven Amish Mennonite Cemetery in Milverton. Those wishing to donate in Lynette’s memory are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society. Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
