Lynda Lorraine Fraser (Marriott)
Surrounded by the presence and love of her family, Lynda Lorraine Fraser, 71 of Debert, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2020 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Helen (Innis) Marriott.
Lynda was a family person. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially playing various board games with them. She was a loving, caring woman with old fashioned values. Animals were very important to her and she will be especially missed by her puppies, Abby and Mandy.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years, James “Sonny”; daughters, Donna (Tim) Purdy, Debert, Debora (Mike) Slaunwhite, Debert; son, Jeff (Freda), Debert; her grandchildren, Jamie, TJ, Nicole, Cassidy, Megan, Emily-Mae; six great grandchildren and one expectant great grandchild; sister, Joanne (Harry) Gulliver, Truro; brothers, David (Betty) Marriott, Halifax, Stephen (Phyllis) Marriott, Truro; several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Lynda was predeceased by her sisters, Judy (Eric) Young and Marilyn Dykens.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. If so desired, donations may be made to the Brain Injury Assoc. of Nova Scotia – Truro Chapter or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
